Job Responsibilities:

1. Financial Accounting:
   • Supervise and manage the financial accounting processes, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
   • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting principles (e.g., SAK & GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
   • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
2. Tax Compliance:
   • Oversee tax planning and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to local, state, federal, and international tax regulations.
   • Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors to prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timely filing.
   • Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and implement necessary updates to tax strategies and policies.
3. Financial Analysis and Strategy:
   • Analyze financial data and performance indicators to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
   • Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize financial performance and achieve organizational goals.
4. Team Leadership and Development:
   • Lead and mentor a team of financial professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
   • Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring their professional growth and development.
5. Communication and Stakeholder Management:
   • Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on financial matters.
   • Present financial results and analysis to senior management and the board of directors, conveying complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA, Master’s in Accounting) and/or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification may be preferred.
• Experience: Typically requires 8-10+ years of progressive experience in financial accounting and tax, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role. Experience in a similar industry or organization size is often preferred.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial analysis. Experience with financial reporting software and ERP systems is often required.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
• Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and develop strategic recommendations. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Ethical Standards: Upholds high ethical standards and integrity in financial reporting and compliance practices.
