The Role : The Senior Accounting Staff plays a key role in supporting the accounting and finance department of an organization. This position involves various tasks related to financial transactions, recording, and assisting in financial reporting. Accounting Staff work under the supervision of senior accounting professionals and contribute to the processing of accurate and timely financial data.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyzing reports and tools that identify cost exceptions and working with cross functional teams to predict and improve cost of production.
- Recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate records of financial transactions.
- prepare tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, reports and maintain a company's tax database.
- Providing support for external audits, preparing for tax audits and assisting with audit inquiries.
Desired Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Proven track record in accounting or finance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accurate and other accounting software.
- Specialization in the field of taxation is preferred
- Prior experience in handling audit
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.
